CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR A PROJECT EXPENDITURE VERIFICATION AUDIT – AC3 PROJECT

WACREN is soliciting from qualified firms’ proposals to audit the Interim financial report basically made up of the Project Expenditure for the period 16 November 2019 to 28 February 2021, under its AfricanConnect3 contract with the European Commission. 

The audit has the objective of providing an assessment and reports on regularity and eligibility of the reported expenditure.

Proposals should contain, but not limited to the following:

  1. Eligibility – accreditation to conduct audits;
  2. Experience of your firm in relation to the scope of audits of an NGO and European Commission contracts;
  3. Staff assignments and availability to complete the audit on a timely basis;
  4. Audit plan;
  5. The proposal fee to conduct the audit function;
  6. Estimated timeframe to complete the audit (maximum two months).

  • Interviews of Short-listed Applicants:  08 March 2021
  • Notification to Selected Applicant: 09 March 2021
  • Deadline for Acceptance of the contract by Selected Applicant: 11 March 2021
